This is a comment from our friend Rusty’s blog. Rusty is going to join the World Race next month.
From Scott Molgard, a member of the team that Rusty is joining:
“Rusty, I clicked on here after sending you an email, just to see what was going on. I had no idea I would be stepping into such a fun discussion! Life is such a fun adventure, obviously I think you are doing the right thing pursuing answers with everything you have. I look forward to your joining our team. As for the above discussion I had a lot of thoughts, but the one that I think is good enough to put here is Paul’s idea in 1 Corinthians 15:19, That if it is just for our lives here that we have this hope, then we are to be pitied above all men. We need to realize that our beliefs are insane to the wisdom of the world. What is even more insane to me is trying to live with one foot in both worlds. The only way I can understand proving God and the spiritual is to live it in such a way that God proves himself. We can not argue with persuasive words, we will not convince anyone with just our words or some psychobabble. Our beliefs will never earn us respect, until we live it, put our money and our very lives where our mouths are. Actually live a life of love and sacrifice, of power! Our lives are and will be our message, will be the only evidence of the truth of Jesus’ teaching.” Posted: 7/13/2007 4:03:39 AM–>
